Who can benefit from counseling?
The short answer is: everyone! Everyone can benefit from counseling as we all need support through our lives. Sometimes that support comes from family and friends. At times we need to seek someone outside our circle who can help us understand what we are experiencing and dig deeper into our emotions so we can move forward. Counseling promotes growth and understanding. It opens doors to solutions we did not realized were part of our choices.
Does this sound familiar?
You want to be present and enjoy your life, but instead you are:
feeling nervous, restless, or tense
having a sense of impending danger
feeling weak or tired
having trouble concentrating
not enjoying things you used to enjoy
experiencing persistent sadness
having trouble sleeping
withdrawing from family and friends
having feelings of worthlessness
Or maybe you feel that your symptoms are keeping the real you hidden. Where anxiety keeps you from reaching your potential and where depression symptoms make you feel like you are stuck in a dark place. Symptoms of anxiety and depression affect you home life, work relationships, your outlook on life, etc. But what if you were able to decrease your symptoms or possibly eliminate them? Learning the proper coping skills can help you lead a life with less worries. Identifying triggers can minimize your symptoms so you can enjoy life again.
Life doesn’t have to stay this way.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
